In 2011, I had the honor of delivering the annual Charlotte Zolotow lecture. I was the most nervous I’d ever been giving a talk– it’s no small thing to follow the likes of Judy Blume, Gregory Maguire, and Susan Patron. The good folks at the University of Wisconsin-Madison have recently put it up on YouTube. Take a look!

I like it very much, especially when you emphasized the benefits of comics in education and said such statements:
Unlike other medium such as animation and film, comic media accommodates text that urges the users to read, provides permanent/static images that makes messages do not fleeting, and gives self control to the users to read the content on their own pace..
Do you write scholarly articles/books?
Thanks, Ronaldi! I’ve actually presented a few of the same ideas in a teachers’ journal, but I did it as a comic.
